Solex SLX-20 Pool Heater
Energy from the sun is non regulated, non restricted and free. The solar collector transfers this energy to the water in your pool. The SOLEX Solar Collector offers a unique ecological and economical solution.
SOLEX's Sun Collector is made of a special blend of synthetic rubber to withstand extreme climatic conditions, dimensional stability with aging of material and still provides good thermal conductivity. Solar strips are linked together with PVC headers. SOLEX operates without mobile pieces, requires no gaskets and generates no noise.
HOW IT WORKS:
- The water pump pressurizes the solar collector piping and SOLEX collectors with pool water.
- Solar energy is collected in the solar panels and heats the pool water.
- The heated water is pumped back to the pool into the existing piping connected to pump filtration unit.
- Can be cut to fit the size of your roof; when the roof area is limited or when the roof is geometrically complex, SOLEX can be easily adapted to use all areas of your roof. SOLEX can perform where others can't.
- Strip Design, SOLEX let's breath and dry your roof. By keeping ˝ inch (10 mm) between Solar Strips; your roof will not age prematurely and will keep it's original features. There's no risk of roof deterioration due to humidity build-up under large panels.
- Modular design made in synthetic rubber, SOLEX can be delivered in compact boxes by National Post or private carrier.
- Standard collectors of 10 and 20 feet are kept in inventory. Others dimensions are available upon special request.
- No mechanical joints, no gaskets to connect Solar Strips togheter. PVC headers are welded with standard PVC glue. PVC headers are glued to standard 1˝ inch PVC pipe available in stores
- SOLEX Solar Collectors are glued on the roof. It doesn't puncture your roof like the traditional Nylon-screw strapping. Installation is made by gluing SOLEX collectors to roof shingles.
